Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School and Spring Valley Higher Secondary School , Pilerne celebrated their Annual Day on 14 December 2023 at Emerald Lawns, Parra  on the theme ‘Twilight Symphony 2023 – Chronicles of Time ‘.Shri Ashok.V.Parab Deputy Director, Directorate of Art and Culture Government of Goa was the  Chief Guest for the day. On the dais other dignitaries were also  present.

The school annual report was presented by the headmistress of the school Mrs Selena D’souza which included the achievements and activities of the students in different fields. The highlight of the evening was the presentation “Chronicles of Time” depicting the Indian culture and its diversity. The students presented a magnificent display in the form of skits and dances of various states from north to the south of India. The students enchanted the audience with their mesmerizing dances like bhangra ,garbha , lezim, bhumro,lavni,kunbi etc. It brought to the forefront the Indian culture and various occupations practiced by the people of India .The students enacted a play highlighting the life of  eminent personalities like Pandit Shivkumar Sharma from Kashmir , Major Dyanchand from Uttar Pradesh, Mahatma Gandhi from Gujarat, Savitri Bai Fule from Maharashtra and Shenoi Goembab from Goa.

The Chief Guest Mr. Ashok Parab in his speech praised the school for the excellent work the management and teachers are doing and encouraged students to develop the skills of reading books.  The parents and well-wishers present for the event, appreciated the talents and skills of the students  for putting up such a lovely show. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Joecy Lourenco and event concluded with the school anthem.

The event was a grand success which left a lasting impression on all those who attended it.
