INTERNATIONALCOASTAL CLEANUP DAY 2025

Scouts and Guides of grade XB and XC participated in this coastal beach cleaning activity on 20th September2025. The  students reported at the venue – Calangute  at 7.30 a.m. The  beach cleaning activity began at 8.00am after a brief introduction of the activity, instructions and area allotted to be cleaned. At the end of the activity, refreshments were provided to the students which was followed by  a short valedictory function. 

Following dignitaries were present for the function Calangute MLA – Mr Michael Lobo,Calangute  Sarpanch Mr. Joseph Sequeira and other panch members.

The program was initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Goa State Biodiversity Board, Goa State Climate Change Cell, Government of Goa, Village Panchayat – Calangute, Biodiversity Management Committee and Indian Coast Guard.

Participation certificates were given to all the students. Program ended at 10.30 a.m.
